Mrs. Kelly Chapman
Teaching is rewarding and inspirational. I love watching kids' creativity and love for learning. I have been teaching for 10 years and every year is unique! I am blessed with a wonderful husband and adorable son! If I'm not in school, I'm by the water (pool, river, or shore)! Football is my favorite sport to watch!! FLY EAGLES FLY!

Mrs. Deborah Hubbert
I am excited to be returning to the school I consider "home". I am the third generation in my family to serve students at RSES; my grandmother taught 2nd grade here for many years and my mom, "Nurse Jane", was the school nurse for over 20 years. I attended RSES as a student and graduated from RSHS. I began teaching in 2003 and have taught in Baltimore County, at Elkton Middle, and Calvert Elementary. I live in Rising Sun with my husband and our 4 children. I enjoy reading and gardening, but my favorite thing is spending time at the beach with family and friends. I am looking forward to working with the staff, students, and families at RSES!

Mrs. Ceara Hudson
I am so happy to have been with the students, staff, and community at Rising Sun Elementary since 2020! I grew up going to school at Rising Sun Elementary, Middle, and High. I went to college at Towson University and began teaching in Cecil County after I graduated. It's a dream to be able to come back and teach in the environment that helped shape and teach me. In my free time I enjoy traveling with my husband, taking care of our dog Betty, spending time with our families, baking, and working on house projects.

Mrs. Corinne Klaus
I have been teaching for 22 years and I have been lucky enough to have spent all of those years at RSES.
I graduated from the University of Delaware with certifications to teach Elementary and Special Education. I earned my Master's Degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland as a Reading Specialist.
I have three children that love sports and keep me very busy. In my free time, I love to scrapbook, refinish furniture and cook.

Ms. Kaitlin Poorbaugh
Hello! I have been a Special Education teacher with the amazing team at Rising Sun Elementary since 2015 after graduating from Towson University.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, going on adventures, and playing with my dogs. I am looking forward to another wonderful year!

Mrs. Megan Taylor
I have been a part of the special education team at Rising Sun Elementary since 2010, serving as both teacher and building coordinator. I live in Harford County with my husband and two children, Finn and Lily.
When I'm not at work, I love watching the Ravens, spending time with friends and family, and going to Disney World as often as possible.

Mrs. Bonnie Jo White
I am excited to join the special education team at Rising Sun Elementary as the new building coordinator. The 2022-2023 will be my 12th year as a public school educator. During that time, I have been blessed to have worked as a classroom special education teacher in grades 4, 5 and 8.
When I’m not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, yoga and boating.
